My career in education has included working for Teach for America, non-profits, and public and independent schools. I have a Master’s Degree in education with a specialization in educational technology, and multiple K-12 teaching credentials. I spent eight years in the classroom, first at the high school level and then elementary, before working for eight years as the Instructional Technology Facilitator at the Center for Early Education in Los Angeles. I spent a year as the Associate Director of Online Education at the USC Shoah Foundation Institute working on IWitness (iwitness.usc.edu). Currently I work as a Middle School Dean of Technology Integration at an independent school in Pasadena.

I have given numerous presentations and workshops, including one called TIPS (Technology Integration Practical Strategies) that was passed on to me by other educators, and has since become a model adopted at several other schools around the country. In 2011, I completed the Administration and Supervision graduate certificate program in Education through Johns Hopkins University and the International Society for Technology in Education. I am a Google Certified Teacher, a three time Writing Project participant (once at Rice University and twice at UCLA), and an advocate for student-centered, differentiated learning environments. I live in Los Angeles with my family.
